In an age where the internet has made the world flat and the entire world is sharing and remixing content, how do we navigate cultural appropriation and honor the cultures we remix from? Alexandros Lysios will discuss the topic with JooWan Kim from the Hip Hop Orchestra Ensemble Mik Nawooj (EMN) that uses an approach they call Method Sampling "an idea that by borrowing (sampling) unrelated rationales (methods) and by reframing them, one can create a new system as well as innovate an existing one".
